Life imprisonment awarded in Baby Cyriac murder case

Kottayam, Sep 22 (UNI) Additional Sessions Judge P D Rajan today convicted and sentenced Manoj Mathew(30) and his brother Joby Mathew(28) of Cheriyammakkal house to life imprisonment in the Ramapuram Cheriyammakkal Baby Cyriac murder case.

According to the prosecution on November 22, 2003, Manoj Mathew and Joby Mathew had stabbed to death their cousin Baby Cyriac (38) with a tapping knife, following a property dispute.

Additional Public Prosecutor Kuncheria Kuzhiveli appeared for the prosecution.
