Judicial custody of prime accused in bank scam extended
Hyderabad, Sep 22 (UNI) The City Metropolitan Sessions Court today extended judicial custody of Kosaraju Venkateswara Rao, prime accused in the multi-crore bank scam case, till October 19.
Mr Rao, former chairman of the now defunct Krushi Co-operative Bank, was extradited from Bangkok, as allegations of scam surfaced.
Although, Rao was to attend the court today, he was not produced.
The Special Public Prosecutor in the case sought permission from the court to conduct 'narco-analysis' test on Mr Rao.
