Israeli soldiers wounded in West Bank attack

NABLUS, West Bank, Sep 22 (Reuters) One Israeli soldier was moderately wounded and six others lightly hurt in the West Bank today by explosive devices thrown by Palestinian militants, the Israeli military said.

It said the attack took place in the West Bank city of Nablus.

Palestinian militants from al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, which is part of Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas's Fatah group, carried out the attack during an Israeli operation in the city.

Israeli troops often raid West Bank towns and cities looking for militants.
