BJP demands cancellation of J

Jammu Sep 22 (UNI) The state unit of the BJP today accused the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission of irregularities and demanded cancellation of the result of recently held combined civil service examinations.

Addressing a press conference here today, party president Nirmal Singh charged the commission chairman with tampering with the records in order to benefit those who are close to him.

He said two members of PSC, Prof B K Tikku and N A Jan refused to sign the results of the recently held examination indicating that the results had been tampered with and that these two did not want to be a party to unfair means adopted by the commission.

Dr Singh said his party demands that the result declared be cancelled and re-evaluation of answer sheets be done afresh under the supervision of a competent member.
