AP Govt prohibits sacrificing of animals on Vijayadashami

Hydrabad, Sept 22 (UNI)The Andhra Pradesh Govt today prohibited sacrificing of animals on the occasion of Vijayadashami, falling on October two by invoking the AP Animals and Birds Sacrifices(Prohibition) Act.

The Additional Director General of Police(Legal) M Bhaskar directed all the Superintendents of Police and Commissioners to enforce the Act and take necessary action against violators, according to a statement issued here.
