Yashoda group of hospitals to conduct Hyderabad Heart Walk

Hyderabad, Sep 21 (UNI) The Yashoda group of hospitals here will conduct 'Hyderabad Heart walk for a healthy heart' on September 24 on the eve of World Heart Day to create awareness among people the importance of walking in prevention and control of heart diseases.

According to a hospital release, walking was the easiest and most conveninet form of exercise for most people and it was very effective.

25 per cent of the population in the country was suffering from either diabetes or high blood pressure as per the recent studies.

The number was increasing day by day due to lack of health education and awareness among people, the release added.
