Kin of the abducted doctor visits janata darbar
Patna, Sep 18 (UNI) The aggrieved relatives of the abducted doctor Radhika Raman Prasad today called on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar in his janata darbar and urged him to intervene for safe and early rescue of the victim.
Mr Kumar told newspersons here that police of Bhojpur and its bordering districts had conducted raids for rescuing the doctor and a canine squad had been sent from Patna.
The state DGP and ADG were monitoring the rescue operation and the family members of the doctor had expressed satisfaction over the actions taken by the administration for safe and early rescue of the doctor who was abducted last night on his way to Patna from Jagdishpur.
While looking into the problems of the people in his janata darbar, Mr Kumar directed a probe into possession of a house by some of his relatives.
The CM also ordered an inquiry into the allegations levelled by a couple of Muzaffarpur who complained that the IG of Tirhut Range Suneet Kumar was eyeing on their landed property and trying to stop construction on that land.
