Female Buddhist monk from Vietnam expires in Nagpur
Nagpur, Sep 18 (UNI) A 30-year-old female Buddhist monk - Nguyen Thi Duyen hailing from Vietnam, passed away in a private Nursing Home here, yesterday.
Duyen, who recently came to India spreading Lord Buddha's peace message, was touring various places alongwith Bhante Buddhadhatu of Australia. Before coming to Nagpur she had gone to Nepal.
As she fell ill she was admitted in the Swastik critical Hospital here where she was under treatment for the last three days.
Her body was taken to Chimur in Chandrapur district today to perform the last rites. The body was accompanied by Bhante Buddhadhatu, (Australia) Bhante Fook Wang (Vietnam), Bhante Ratan Bodhi (Thailand) Dr Miling Jiwane, Dr Anand Gajbhiye, Dr Raju Kose and many other prominent persons.
