Don't send children on Army tours: Asiya to parents

Srinagar, Sep 18 (UNI) Dukhtaran-e-Millat (Daughters of Faith) chief Asiya Andrabi has appealed to the people of Kashmir not to send their children on tours organised by the Army.

''You are handing over your teenage daughters to the Army for tours. Its absolutely wrong. They (Army) are not our friends...They have raped and molested hundreds of women in Jammu and Kashmir. Who can forget mass rape of our daughters at Kunanposhpora and Badrapayeen in Kupwara district?'' Ms Andrabi said at a seminar organised by the Forum Against Social Evils (FASE) in Kupwara.
