Govt to ensure safety of Indians working in Yemen

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 17 (UNI) Union Overseas Indian Affairs Minister Vayalar Ravi today said the government will take all possible steps to ensure the safety of Indians working in Yemen.

Talking to mediapersons here after inaugurating the ''Bharat Nirman'', a Public Information Campaign, he said the government had received certain information that some serious issues prevailed in Yemen.

The Minister said the government was keeping a close watch on the developments in Yemen and would discuss the issue with the Foreign Secretary.
