Couple killed, son injured as speeding truck runs over their bike

Rajkot, Sep 17 (UNI) A couple was killed on the spot while their son was grievously injured when the motorcycle they were riding on was ran over by a speeding truck near Rajula in the Amreli district.

Police have identified the deceased as Mavjibhai Jadavbhai (50) and his wife Diwaliben (45).

Police today said Jadavbhai, his wife and their son Dharmsi (20) were travelling yesterday to Rajula from Chanch village when the mishap occurred.

The injured has been undergoing treatment at a hospital at Mahuva, police added.
