Mumbai, Sep 17 (UNI) Tired of denying rumours of an affair and marriage with co-star Ravi Kishen, Bhojpuri film actress Nagma says they might stop working together for a while.

''Instead of denying such rumours, we may even stop working together for a while. Both of us are working on several projects and are close family friends. But, some people fail to unnderstand that.

Such baseless rumours affect a good friendship'', she told reporters during the promotional event of her new film 'Ab Ta Banja Sajanwa Hamaar', produced by Saira Banu.

About her views on actresses working after marriage, Nagma said marriage is a beautiful institution which requires maintenance of a fine balance between the couple.

''The balance between the two individuals is more required if they belong to the film industry. As far as I am concerned, I would want to continue doing good films even after marriage. But, every thing depends on situations. In my case it is yet to happen. Every thing has its own time'', she said.

Replying to a query on the debate down south about actresses giving up careers for matrimony like her sister Jyothika Sadanah who married co-actor Surya last week, Nagma said her sister did not say that she has quit acting. ''She only said that she is taking a temporary break''.

Asked how she takes gossips, Nagma who had earlier been linked with former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly, said, ''With a pinch of salt. Gossip mongers cannot stand good, clean friendships.'' About her start from scratch journey in Bhojpuri cinema after a good reign down south, Nagma says she enjoys constant challenges.

She said she was keen on television too, but was waiting for an exciting and good offer.

''Why should Television be looked down on. If Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) can do television, who are people like us to say no to good offers'', she asked.

Nagma said she wanted to work with Aamir Khan. ''I still repent the fact that I declined 'Jo Jeeta Woh Sikander' opposite Aamir Khan to play the role which went to Ayesha Jhulka,'' she says.

She said she enjoyed her brief stint in Bollywood where she got to work opposite Salman Khan in her debut film 'Baaghi' and 'Suhag' opposite Akshay Kumar.

Asked about her dream role in Bollywood, Nagma said her forthcoming Bhojpuri film 'Ganga' contains all shades of late Nargis' role in 'Mother India' except the aged part. ''I think I have played variety of roles in Bhojpuri films'', she added.

To a question on her political role, Nagma who had joined the Congress in 2004, says she was invited for the plenary session in Hyderabad. ''I could not go because I was busy shooting. But, I am ready to do whatever assignment the party gives me'', she added.
