Bhartiya Vidyarthi Sena observes a 'Rasta Roko' at district court
Akola, Sept 17 (UNI) The Bharatiya Vidyarthi Sena today organised a 'Rasto Roko' to protest the alleged irregularities in the examinations that are in progress for the recruitment of junior court clerks and peons, in front of the district courts here.
BVS District chief Mangesh Kale told UNI that the district judge has refused to meet their delegation.
The written test is being held at the New English High School, which is located opposite the district court.
Several hundred eligible candidates were deprived of the opportunity to appear for the tests and therefore protested, Mr Kale said.
According to reports, the written tests being held for recruitment of junior clerks and peons were scheduled to take place simultanously at Yeotmal, Amravati, and Akola.
Several hundred job-seekers for these posts got their call from these districts simultanously and were finally compelled to choose only one centre.
