Vigilance submits memo of evidence against MP Sadhu Yadav
Patna, Sep 16 (UNI) Bihar state Vigilance Investigation Bureau (VIB) today submitted a memo of evidence before a special court against RJD MP Anirudh Prasad alias Sadhu Yadav in connection with a cheating and forgery case.
The memo of evidence was submitted before the special Vigilance Judge of Patna Ramniwash Prasad during the hearing of anticipatory bail petition filed by Mr Yadav in the case.
The bureau said in its memo that there are eight cases pending against Mr Yadav. The next hearing on the bail petition would be held on September 18.
The case is an off shoot of multi crore flood relief scam in the state. According to the charges, Mr Yadav, abusing his position, fradulently got the ownership of a vehicle transfered in his name in connivance with the officials of district transport office in Patna during 2004-2006.
The said vehicle was registred in the name of one Sumit Ranjan Jena in Delhi.
