Results of draw-of-lots for Manesar housing society declared

Chandigarh, Sep 16 (UNI) The Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) has declared the results of the draw-of-lots for the allotment of sites to the Cooperative Group Housing Societies at Industrial Model Township (IMT) in Manesar near Gurgaon and at Growth Centre at Bawal in Rewari district.

A spokesman of HSIIDC said yesterday the draw was held in the presence of the members of the societies. He said 110 applications were received for allotment of sites in IMT, Manesar and seven for sites in Growth Centre, Bawal. After the scrutiny of the applications, 70 were found to be eligible for the draw of 50 sites available for allotment.

He said that for providing accommodation to industrial workers, an area of about 260 acre was earmarked by HSIIDC for residential use. As per the norms of HUDA, a scheme for allotment of sites to Co-operative Group Housing Societies of industrial workers was planned.

He said that the sites were reserved for registered Co-operative Societies of industrial workers, executives and allotees of industrial plots working in industries located in IMT, Manesar and Bawal.
