Veteran freedom fighter dead

Gorakhpur, Sep 14 (UNI) Veteran freedom fighter Chotkai Yadav died at his native village Vikri here today.

He was 100.

The centenarian had actively participated in the freedom struggle and was jailed several times.

His mortal remains were consigned to flames at the 'Muktidham' near the banks of Saryu here.

Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav expressed grief on his death.
