Three killed in road accident

Davanagere, Sep 14 (UNI) Three persons were killed on the spot and another was seriously injured when an iron-ladden truck, in which they were travelling overturned near Govinakovi village, in Honnali taluk in the district, about 60-km from here in the early hours today.

The police sources said that the mishap occurred when the truck was on its way to Chamarajanagar from Ranebennur.

All the deceased were from Ranebennur were identified as Abdul Kareem (38), R Mirajkar (26) and Durgappa Bandeppa (27). The injured has been admitted to Honnali general hospital. The police officers visited the accidemnt site.
