TechTribe launches collaborative innovation service in India

New Delhi, Sept 14 (UNI) With the objective of encouraging innovation and technology in India, techTribe, a community network platform was launched here today.

The software platform aims to enable Indian technology professionals in software and services to connect with like-minded people around the world and collaborate on innovative solutions.

''Techtribe is different from any other website and it is based on collaborations between IT professionals. It is not for advertising but for e-learning for faster innovations. With techTribe, our goal is to provide an environment for professionals to connect with others, exchange ideas and foster etrepreneursim, '' said techTribe CEO Rohit Agarwal.

It also announced a year long campaign -- connect2Develop, where techTribe will award a grant of upto Rs one million each month to an innovative idea collaboratively developed by professionals using this platform.

Mr Agarwal said the service will be entirely free to its users and the main revenue module would be from e-learning and different corporations who are ready to pay. He said the main idea is to make India a hub of this platform from other countries like the US, China and Germany.

With this, professionals can connect with 'founding team members' inside and outside their corporate boundaries that have shaped the software industry. The innovation board's purpose is to guide and reward innovative ideas from the Indian technology professionals.
