SIC arrests three in PDS scam

Itanagar, Sep 14 (UNI) The SIC (special investigation cell, vigilance) of Arunachal Pradesh Police arrested three high-ranking government officials in connection with the alleged PDS scam.

The accused Tapik Pertin, Cheechung Chukhu and Feroj Modi were arrested yesterday and sent to the Court of Special Judge (west), Papum Pare district, according to senior superintendent of police, SIC, R Yomcha.

Earlier, the state government had suspended Civil Supplies director N N Osik.
