SIC arrests three

Itanagar, Sept 14 (UNI) The SIC (special investigation cell, vigilance) of Arunachal Pradesh Police yesterday arrested three high-ranking government officials in connection with the alleged PDS scam.

The accused Tapik Pertin, Cheechung Chukhu and Feroj Modi were sent to the Court of Special Judge (west), Papum Pare district, according to senior superintendent of police, SIC, R Yomcha.

Earlier, the state government had put Civil Supplies director N N Osik under suspension.
