Seven Defence personnel injured as RTV overturns

New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) Eight people, including seven Defence personnel, were injured after the RTV they were travelling in overturned in Mongolpuri in North-West Delhi this morning.

The accident took place near 'Dost Chowki' in Rani Bagh area of Mongolpuri at about 0900 hrs, sources said.

The injured were taken to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital and discharged after first aid.

The RTV, on its way to Timarpur, from Vikaspuri carrying eight people, overturned while negotiating a turn.

Among the injured was also the driver of the RTV, which had been hired to ferry personnel of 'Inmass' -- a research and development centre of the armed forces -- based in Timarpur.
