Ramky to be anchor developer of pharma SEZ in Haldia: Nirupam
Kolkata, Sept 14 (UNI) Hyderabad based Ramky Group has agreed to be the anchor developer for the proposed pharma special economic zone (SEZ) at Haldia in West Bengal, Commerce and Industry minister Nirupam Sen said today.
The pharma SEZ is planned in over 3,000 acres of land, Sen said at the annual general meeting of the Ball Bearing Association.
The state government would shortly start identifying the land for the proposed pharma SEZ in Haldia, he said.
Meanwhile, the Ball Bearing Association has asked for 75 acres of land near the Kona Expressway for an industrial component park.
The state government is also planning to set up a multi product SEZ in Siliguri.
Similar SEZs over about 100 acres of land were also planned in the backward districts in the state, he added.
