Rail ticket checking earns Rs 21 lakh
Bhopal, Sep 14 (UNI) Intense ticket checking in August has brought more than Rs 21 lakh revenue to the Bhopal division of the West Central Railway.
According to Senior Divisional Manager (Commerce) G S Awasthi, 6,443 cases of travelling without ticket or with improper ticket were caught.
Collection of fare and surcharge brought more than Rs 21 lakh compared to Rs 19 lakh collected in 5,755 cases during the same period last year.
Mr Mohammed Adil Khan, Mr Satish and Mr N K Jatav were selected for incentive scheme for ticket collectors.
