Punjab Cabinet approves World Bank road project

Chandigarh, Sep 14 (UNI) The Punjab Cabinet today approved the World Bank aided Rs 1,359 crore State Road Sector Project.

The project involves the upgradation of 1100 km road length at an estimated cost of about 310 million US dollar (about Rs 1350 crore), with a loan assistance of about 250 million dollar.

The cabinet met here under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh.
