PM leaves for Havana to participate in NAM Summit
Brasilia, Sep 14 (UNI) Prime Minister Manmohan Singh left here today for Havana where he will attend the 14th Non-Aligned Movement Summit beginning tomorrow.
Dr Singh was in Brasilia for the first summit of the India-Brazil-South Africa (IBSA) summit held here yesterday.
On Tuesday, he had bilateral talks with Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva at the end of which the two sides signed nine agreements aimed at boosting their economic and political ties.
In Havana, Dr Singh is also slated to meet Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.
The Prime Minister will leave Havana on September 17 and reach home on the night of September 18 after an overnight stay in Frankfurt.
