PIB Audio-visual footage for electronic media from tomorrow

New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) The Press Information Bureau (PIB) will launch its Audio Visual Unit tomorrow providing news items to electronic media in audio visual format also.

The inaugural webcast will be on the recent China visit of Union Minister of Science and Technology Kapil Sibal.

The webcast will be available on PIB website http://pib.nic.in and can be downloaded for use.

In due course, such stories in Audio Visual form will also be supplied in DVD formats. The effort is expected to facilitate the electronic media in receiving footage on important Government events, an official release here said.
