Oriya writer's Hindi Poems on Kashmir presented to Vice President

New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) Noted Oriya writer Subhashri Panigrahi presented the first copy of her collection of Hindi poems "Panne Kashmir Ke" to the Vice President Bhairon Singh Shekhawat on the occasion of the Hindi Day celebrations here today.

Presenting the book, Dr. Panigrahi told the Vice President that this was her first effort to compose poems in Hindi. In these poems she has tried to depict the natural beauty and splendour of Kashmir as well as socio-cultural aspects of Kashmiri people.

Congratulating Dr. Panigrahi on her efforts to write and compose poems in Hindi, Mr Shekhawat hoped that the book would be helpful in promoting a better understanding of the culture and beauty of Kashmir among the Hindi speaking people.
