Monica Bedi brought to CBI court

Hyderabad, Sep 14: Actress and accomplice of gangster Abu Salem, Monica Bedi, was today produced before the CBI court in Nampalli in a fake passport case.

The Judge examined two witnesses apart from her.

The Supreme Court had ordered that the hearing of the case should be completed by October 19, CBI sources said today.

Abu Salem and Monica Bedi obtained fake passports from Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh and escaped to Lisbon. They were extradited.

While Salem is facing several charges including the Mumbai bomb blasts, Bedi had been charged with obtaining a fake passport.
