Major overhaul of senior Delhi Police officials
New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) In a major reshuffle in the Delhi Police, several senior officials were today transferred out of Delhi and others promoted and posted to coveted ranks.
While Additional Commissioner of Police (General Administration) Kishen Kumar was sent to Pondicherry as Inspector General of Police, B S Brar (Jt CP) was sent to Goa as Director General and Jt CP (HQS) S K Jain sent to Chandigarh as Inspector General of Police.
Also, DG (Goa) Neeraj Kumar was made DG (Home Guards) and Jt CP (South) B S Bassi made Spl CP (Vigilance).
Besides this, IGP (Chandigarh) Satish Chandra and IGP (Pondicherry) P R Meena have been brought back to Delhi and placed under the charge of the Govt of NCT, awaiting fresh posting.
Along with this, S S Yadav, presently with the Govt of NCT was given the IGP grade.
