Lightning claim 7 lives

Badwani (MP), Sept 14: Seven people were killed and an equal number injured as lightning struck them at three places in Madhya Pradesh's Badwani district in the last two days.

Three girls and a boy were killed and two others injured as lightning struck them while standing on the doorstep at Rajmali village yesterday.

In a similar incident at Jalkheda village, two persons, including a woman, were killed and five others injured yesterday.

The injured, including three women and a boy, were admitted to the hospital at Palsud.

Two persons were killed in lightning on Tuesday also.
