Kerala Congress(Jacob) revived

Kottayam, Sep 14 (UNI) The Kerala Congress(Jacob) today ratified the leadership decision to revive the party.

Briefing newspersons here after the state committee meeting, party leader T M Jacob and Chairman Johny Nelloor said various committees of the party had also been revived. Various district committees would meet by September 30, they added.

They said party activists would work for the UDF candidates in the local bodies election.

Referring to the connection with the DIC(K) Mr Jacob said the party had corrected the mistake.

When asked about the performance of the Kerala Government Mr Jacob said the Achuthanandan Government became unpopular within a short span of time.

Regarding consensus in the professional colleges issue he said it was nothing but cheating the people.
