Jipmer Administration to hold walk-in-interview
Pondicherry, Sep 14 (UNI) In the wake of continuing indefinite strike by JIPMER employees, the JIPMER administration had invited eligible candidates for a walk-in-interview for temporary appointments.
According to JIPMER sources, the interview would be held for nurses, lab and X-ray technicians, pharmacists, senior dressers, LDCs, typist and record clerks from tomorrow for three days.
The administration had envisaged such a plan to ensure medical facilities to poor patients, who depended on JIPMER for treatment.
The employees of JIPMER hospital here continued with their indefinite strike for the seventh day today and took out a massive procession to protest against the move to convert JIPMER into an autonomous institution.
