Jaya predicts change of govt in TN

Chennai, Sep 14: Predicting a change of government in Tamil Nadu very soon, AIADMK General Secretary J Jayalalithaa today called upon party cadre to launch a campaign against the DMK Government, which came to power on 'false promises.' 'This time, change of government will not be postponed by years.

The miracle will occur very soon,' she said in a message to party cadre on the eve of DMK founder C N Annadurai's birth anniversary.

Stating that the DMK's victory was temporary, she said the DMK Government's announcement on distribution of free colour TVs and two acre land each to landless farmers was impractical.

Ms Jayalalithaa charged that the Government of planning to extend the freebies, including gas stoves and financial assistance to unemployed youth, only to DMK partymen.

After partyment got benefits, they might indulge in campaigns proclaiming that they had fulfilled the promises made to the people, she said and urged cadres to launch street campaigns against it.
