BSF kills Bangladeshi smugler

Kolkata, Sep 14 (UNI) The Border Security Force (BSF) shot down a Bangladeshi smuggler at Machhampur in North 24 Parganas early today.

Police said the BSF chased a group of five smugglers when they were crossing the Indo-Bangladesh border and opened fire on them killing one on the spot. However, the rest managed to flee.

Later, the security personnel recovered 56 foils of banned drugs, which the smugglers left behind.
