AP Transco decides to impose six-hour power cut

Hyderabad, Sep 14 (UNI) AP Transco has decided to impose a six-hour power cut in towns and mandal headquarters in order to meet the demand of the agriculture sector during the ongoing Khariff season.

However, cities would be exempted from the power cut.

Talking to newspersons here, AP Transco Managing Director Rechal Chatterjee said the power cut would also be applicable to industries that had so far faced no power cut.

She said power cut would be for two to four hours in such industries.
