Andhra Governor to visit the city on 17th

Visakhapatnam, Sep 14 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Governor Rameshwar Thakur will visit the city on Sep 17, to particiate in several programmes jointly organised by the SOS village, the Indian red cross society and NSS in Andhra University TLN sabha hall.

According to an official release, Governor would arrive here by train from Bhubaneswar and stay at the government circuit house. He would interact with programme officers of NSS and review red ribbon clubs in the city and distribute Indian red cross society's zonal awards in the red cross society's district branch on collectorate premises and also inaugurate the CPU of the red cross blood bank, the relase added.

The relase said Mr Thakur would also participate as Chief Guest in the Union Minister of state for mines T Subbirami Reddy's birthday celebrations here and would give away the TRS service national integration awards.
