7000 new enterpreneurs trained in SSI activities

New Delhi, Sep 14 (UNI) The Ministry of Small Scale Industries and Agro and Rural Industries successfully conducted as many as 80 Entrepreneurship Development Programmes, 30 Motivational Campaigns and 20 Management Development Programmes through the Small Industries Development Organisation (SIDO) in different States during July and trained 4850 people in SSI enterprenuership.

Apart from this the Hyderabad-based National Institute of Small Industries Extension Training (NISIET), trained 959 individuals through 42 training programmes in SSI enterpreneurship.

Similarly, the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE), Guwahati conducted 18 training programmes for 784 participants.

Business Facilitation and Development Centre (BFDC) at IIE, Guwahati, provided counselling to 28 entrepreneurs on identification of opportunities and selection of projects.

The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD), NOIDA, conducted 13 training programmes for 327 participants, said a release issued here today.
