IAS officers appeal to political leaders not to demoralise them
Chennai, Sep 13 (UNI)The Tamil Nadu IAS Officers Association today appealed to all political leaders in the state to refrain from damoralising IAS officers by making allegations.
In a statement here President of the Association C K Gariyal said former Chief Minister Ms J Jayalalithaa had made ''highly objectionable statement against senior IAS Mr Syed Munir Hoda.
IAS officers in the state were pained at J Jayalalithaa's remarks against THE senior and upright IAS officer, whom she termed an ''anti-national'' and alleged that he had tried to help PDP leader Mr Madani to escape from prison.
She said the IAS officers of Tamil Nadu cadre are reckoned to be the most dedicated and efficient in the country. They have played a major role in elevating the state to one of the most progressive states in India from being the fifth poorest.
