EU says Iran nuclear meeting postponed
BRUSSELS, Sep 13 (Reuters) A planned meeting between European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana and chief Iranian nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani, due tomorrow, has been postponed, an EU spokeswoman said today.
''We are postponing the meeting,'' said Cristina Gallach, Solana's spokeswoman, adding that senior EU and Iranian representatives would meet instead in Paris.
Gallach said that Solana and Larijani spoke by telephone and agreed to postpone the meeting after reviewing the outcome of talks by their representatives yesterday.
Asked if the discussions had hit a problem, she added: ''Things are going fine.'' She declined to give further details.
