Court issues notice to main witness in Black Buck poaching case

Jodhpur, Sep 13 (UNI) A local court here has issued notice to the main eye witness in the Black Buck poaching case, involving film-star Salman Khan, for absconding and giving false statement in the court.

The Sardarpura police today served the notice to Harish Dulani, directing him to be present in court on the next hearing on October 11.

Dulani is the main witness in two related cases and is absconding since 2002 after giving his statement.

The court had sentenced Salman for five years imprisonment on April 19, 2006, and directed initiation of proceedings against Dulani and another witness Kanaram under section 344 of the IPC.
