Anther injury scare for England, Hoggard sustains side strain
London, Sep 13 (UNI) Matthew Hoggard gave England yet another injury scare before Ashes series after the seamer pulled out of Yorkshire's match against Nottinghamshire with a side strain.
Yorkshire physiotherapist Scott McAllister said later that Hoggard had undergone an ultra-sound scan which was clear, but he would have an MRI scan tomorrow to see if there was a small strain. Scott did not believe the injury was serious.
Hoggard, who took 16 wickets in last year's Ashes, has been named for the Australia-bound squad yesterday.
England selectors have already started receiving flaks for including at least six players who are undergoing treatment for various injuries.
