Take sports as career, not hobby: Manavjit

Bhopal, Sep 11 (UNI) World champion trapshooter Manavjit Singh Sandhu today issued a clarion call to sportspersons to adopt sports as their career, not merely a hobby, and toil to make India feature prominently on the global sports map.

''In India, talents are available in every arena but it is imperative to provide training and facilities for honing them,'' he said while addressing the Madhya Pradesh government's 'Shikhar Khel Alankaran Samaroh'.
