Naxals kill Congress activist in AP village

Mahbubnagar, Sep 11 (UNI) A group of CPI(Maoist) naxals killed a Congress activist in Ambatpally village in this district today.

The activist, Alwal Reddy was proceeding to an agricultural well in the village in Lingala mandal when a five-member naxal action team opened three rounds of fire on him, according to police.

Police are investigating the matter.
