Malegaon blasts a ''shame'', efforts on to apprehend perperators: PM

On Board Air India One, Sept 10 (UNI) In his first direct reaction on the Malegaon blasts, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today termed Friday's blasts in the north-western Maharashtra textile town, in which 38 people were killed and over 150 injured, as a ''shame''.

Talking to journalists on his way to Brazil and Cuba for the India-Brazil-South Africa and the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summits, Dr Singh said that efforts were still on to find out those responible for the blasts.

''We are yet to get to the bottom of the incidents,'' he added.
