India chokes in death again, beaten 2-1 by Korea

Monchengladbach, Sep 11 (UNI) India could not get out of the habit of digesting dying minute goals and it was the same story again as Jong Hyun Jang's late brace saw India forfeiting a one goal lead and going down 1-2 to Korea in the hockey World Cup here today.

After a goalless first half, in-form Shivendra Singh earned the lead for India after the video umpire confirmed he had sounded the board.

But the joy was shortlived as Jang converted a penalty corner some 15 minutes later and then pumped in another goal towards the dying minutes as Korea walked away with a match.
