Mumbai, Sep 11 (UNI) In its bid to enter four-wall finish segment, ICI Paints has launched 'Inspira Cashmere Finish'.

Briefing the mediapersons after launching the 'Inspira Cashmere Finish' for its popular brand 'Dulux' here today, ICI General Manager (Marketing&Innovation) Hina Nagarajan' said that it was for the first time that a decorative paint-product has been rolled out in the Indian market with a feature of four-wall finish. The product would be launched in the rest of the world within next six months.

Inspired by Cashmere wool, the new product has been made available in 20 different shades including serene skies, soft emerald and gold dust. The paint imparts a soft tectile feel and a radiant sheen to the wall, she said.

Well-known fashion designer, Rohit Bal, had launched the product at a function here last evening, she informed and added that Varun Behl is another designer who has also endorsed it.

Available in cans containing 1-4 litre, the base coat of the new paint is priced at Rs 250 per litre, while the top coat would cost Rs 980 per litre.

Headquartered at Slough near Heathrow airport in London, the company has its manufacturing plants at Thane, Hyderabad and Mohali in India.

As the company has already exited manufacturing oily paint products to enter water colour segment, ICI Paints is hopeful of a robust growth in future that too at a rate of 20 per cent a year, she added.
