New Delhi, Sep 11 (UNI) The Delhi High court today granted bail to Nitin Shah, prime accused in the Lalit Suneja murder case.

Petitioner's counsel Ram Jethmalani said there was lack of evidence against Shah. However, Mukta Gupta, the state counsel earlier opposed the bail plea saying the state had enough circumstantial evidences against the accused.

Shah has been charged with murdering Suneja, a businessman, with the help of gangster Babloo Shrivastava.

Additional Sessions Judge Rajender Kumar had earlier convicted both, Babloo and Shah, to life imprisonment for allegedly murdering Suneja on August 2, 1992.

The victim was murdered allegedly by Manjeet Singh and Virendra Pant on the instruction of Srivastava at the reported behest of Shah.
