Gujarat Ambuja Exports to expand capacity costing Rs 311 cr
Mumbai, Sep 11 (UNI) The Board of Gujarat Ambuja Exports Ltd today approved plans to expand capacity and set up a captive power plant estimated to cost around Rs 311 crore.
Announcing this, the company told BSE at the board meeting, held on September 9, it approved setting up new maize processing unit with 500 tonnes per day(tpd) at Uttaranchal estimated to cost Rs 90 crore.
It also cleared setting up of Cotton Yarn Spinning Unit with 30,000 spindles at project cost of Rs 90 crore and setting up captive power plant of 12 MW capacity with project outlay of Rs 35 crore.
In addition, a new project of maize processing with 500 TPD capacity with facility to produce ENA and ethanol at Nasik at total project cost of Rs 96 crore is also coming up.
