Goa soon to have an IT Park at Soccorro

Panaji, Sep 11 (UNI) North Goa will soon have a state-of-the-art information technology park at Socorro in Bardez taluka to be set up at a cost of Rs 50 crores.

The proposed IT park, being readied on a 5.90 lakh sq metres of land, will have other facilities like a training institute for IT personnel, school complex, joggers park and a hospital.

The IT park is expected to generate employment for 5000 people.
