Car bomb blows up near busy Baghdad street

BAGHDAD, Sep 11 (Reuters) A car bomb blew up in eastern Baghdad today in the mainly Shi'ite Talibiya area, an Interior Ministry source said.

There was no immediate information on casualties or the target of the blast, which was heard several kilometres away in central Baghdad.
